EmptyEasel.com and Wet Canvas are two excellent websites for both experienced and newby artists. EmptyEasel has lots of information on selling art online, general advice, featured artists, and instruction on techniques. Wet Canvas has searchable message boards on just about every artistic medium and is a great place to "hang around" with other artists.
